NAMSS’ 2023 Provider Enrollment Webinar Series Provided Essential Knowledge to MSPs

Provider enrollment has become one of the essential competencies that Medical Staff Professionals (MSPs) must have in their toolbox. At NAMSS, our top priority is to provide the necessary education to our members so they can develop and master these competencies.
From July 13 through Aug. 16, NAMSS sponsored six webinar sessions, including a two-parter which specifically focused on provider enrollment topics. Check out an overview of each topic, and find out how you can access this education below.
Session 1: Mastering Provider Enrollment 101

Session 4: Mastering Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) (2 Parts)
Key topics include:
- An in-depth overview of PECOS to provide a clear understanding of its purpose, features, and benefits.
- Practical insights into navigating the application interface, entering and managing provider information, and efficiently submitting enrollment applications.
- Essential documents needed for enrollment and valuable tips and tricks to streamline the application submission, reduce errors, and avoid delays.
Session 5: Streamlining Provider Enrollment: Maximizing Efficiency With CAQH
Key topics include:
- A comprehensive overview of CAQH, highlighting its purpose, functionality, and benefits for healthcare providers, payers, and other stakeholders.
- How CAQH maintains the accuracy and security of the information stored within its systems.
Session 6: NCQA Security Controls: Safeguarding Healthcare Data

- The intent behind NCQA security standards and the expectations for healthcare organizations in implementing effective security measures.
